I have had a rich and diverse professional experience primarily in ICT-related roles within the public sector and government organizations since 2004. The City of Vantaa IT Department played a pivotal role in my career growth, providing me with a platform to develop into a versatile IT professional.

During my more than 10-year tenure with the IT Department, I actively participated in decision-making processes and witnessed significant progress in my career. I began as a System Designer and gradually advanced to roles such as Team Leader and ICT Solution Expert. Alongside leading and managing teams, I actively contributed to the ICT steering group and played a key role in developing information systems and ICT processes.

Following my time at the City of Vantaa IT Department, I joined the Finnish Population Register Centre in May 2017 as a System Manager. During my tenure there, which lasted until December 2019, I successfully managed systems and ensured their smooth operation.

Currently, I am employed at the newly merged organization, Digital and Population Data Services Agency, where I hold the position of Chief IT Specialist and Group Manager. In this role, I lead our cloud team and oversee the digital transformation of cloud computing. I am actively involved in our ongoing cloud transformation initiatives and drive the adoption of a DevSecOps culture. Additionally, I am responsible for leading the modernization of our digital workstation technology as part of the Development and Information Management unit, creating a cutting-edge and efficient workplace environment.

About my articles

Welcome to my article page. In addition to technology and professional topics, I also write articles on current affairs, culture, sports, and politics. These reflections allow me to share perspectives on global and local issues that shape our societies, celebrate cultural diversity, and highlight the role of sports and leadership in bringing communities together. Through these writings, I aim to spark dialogue, inspire critical thinking, and contribute to meaningful conversations beyond the boundaries of technology.
