As one of my volunteer initiatives, I am deeply committed to advancing the security and quality of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in Ethiopia. After careful consideration, my colleague Jay and I have taken a significant step towards reshaping the landscape of Ethiopian cybersecurity and bolstering the resilience of the ICT ecosystem.

We are excited to announce the launch of our new volunteer project, the “CyberSeQuality” initiative, coinciding with the Ethiopian New Year. Our primary objective is to make a positive impact on our community by promoting educational growth and elevating the value of the Ethiopian ICT ecosystem.

Our mission is to tap into the wealth of expertise and insights within Ethiopia and Africa, addressing pressing issues and contributing to the educational journey of our audience. Our discussions will encompass a wide range of topics, including emerging cyber threats, innovative security strategies, adherence to quality standards, and the profound influence of cybersecurity and quality on industries and societies.

CyberSeQuality is more than just a project; it symbolizes our dedicated commitment to highlighting the significance of cybersecurity and quality within the unique context of Ethiopia and Africa. Our initiative serves as a platform not only for exploration but also for advocacy, emphasizing the vital synergy between these two foundational pillars.

In our capacity as the coordinators of the CyberSeQuality initiative, we extend an invitation to you to join us as a volunteer speaker. We are eager to harness your expertise and insights as we collectively address current issues and contribute to the educational journey of our audience.

Each of our volunteer sessions typically lasts for 30 to 45 minutes, allowing ample time for in-depth discussions on topics that align with your expertise. Our conversations will span a spectrum of subjects, from emerging cyber threats to pioneering security strategies, compliance with quality standards, and the profound impact of cybersecurity and quality on industries and societies.
